To snack or not to snack? My favourite snacks.

by luxirare

To snack or not to snack? That is the question. I wouldn’t normally say this but I have to be honest – sometimes I do have the occasional midnight snack. I think we all do it. You might not admit it but we have all done it. You say up a bit later than usual maybe watching a film with the hubby, enjoying a cuppa (or if it’s the weekend a glass or two of bubbly) and then feel a bit peckish and want a little snack – it’s okay. Go ahead and enjoy it.

Today, I’ve partnered up with Pantry House, fine foods delivered, who sell a variety of snacks, including gluten free snacks and vegan snacks, to share some of their best snacks and some of my favourites too! Everyone has their own opinion about snacking but my motto is – if you are hungry, eat something. Easy, peasy.

Snacking can give you much-needed energy to get through the day and it will also help reduce overeating during your main meals. As this article on Healthline mentions, “snacking may not be good for everyone, but it can definitely help some people avoid becoming ravenously hungry.”

If you enjoy a little bit of snacking like me and love to find out new snacks to try out, I’m sure you will like these snacks we’ve put together, from sweet snacks to savoury snacks and some healthy options too!

Border Golden Oat Crumbles

The Border Biscuits golden oat crumbles are a fabulous choice if you need something to go along with your hot tea or coffee (hot cocoa is a great warm drink to complement these crunchy oat biscuits too!).

Marmite Breakfast Biscuits

Marmite is one of those foods that you love or hate. If you are a fan of marmite, these are a must! Crunchy seeded savoury biscuits with marmite are ideal for snacking or even as a quick breakfast on-the-go.

Olina’s Seeded Crackers

These seeded crispy crackers are gluten free, vegan friendly and full of flavour. Have these on their own, with your favourite dip (I’d recommend hummus, guacamole or cucumber yoghurt dip!) or with some toppings.

Eat Real Hummus Sour Cream and Chives Chips

Eat Real make some of my favourite snacks ever – healthy, flavoursome and filling! What else do you need? These sour cream and chive chips will satiate your crunchy snack cravings. These are vegan, gluten free and free from artificial flavourings, colourings and preservatives.

Corners Sweet and Salty Popcorn Crisps

Want something different to snack on during your film nights? The sweet and salty popcorn crisps are gluten free, veggie friendly, free from artificial ingredients and never fried. Delicious, crispy and available in other flavours, including mature cheddar and sour cream.

Candy Kittens Sweets

For the sweet tooth, candy kittens sweets are the perfect choice. These are gourmet vegan sweets that are full of flavour – try their strawberry, mango, blueberry and watermelon sweets, you will love them! Don’t just take it from me – A Beautiful Space has tried these and loved them! She mentioned, “vegan sweets are not that easy to come across so it is a great idea to stock up. These were simply lovely.”

As Really Missing Sleep mentions, “Pantry House aim to make more exclusive products accessible to you without even having to leave your home.” Plus, you can find a variety of products in their pantry that you wouldn’t normally find at your local supermarket!
