I love the concept of covering real chains, reminds me a tad bit of Natalie Brilli, but still there is something DIFFERENT about this piece, the leather looks like its stretched over chains.

    I think I actually prefer Natalia Brilli’s leather wrapped style, but this ain’t bad…

    i saw the natalie brilli pieces in the flesh for the first time today and i have to say, they are amaaaaazing. the texture is divine.

    i love this piece too, as if it’s a shadow of it’s functional self. the edges of the chain pressing against the leather is quite sexy.

    I agree, the Natalia Brilli execution is much better. This choker reminds me of those industrial rubber coated chains..

    I don’t like it, it looks crude in a non sexy way. And a bit DIY to boot, what’s going on with YSL accessories lately? It looks like stuff you’d find in a 25cent machine.

    very brilliant way of making a choker. i do like the silver hook bit, seems sturdy and sexy. wonder whether it is secure enough to fasten around the neck!!??

    I also slightly prefer Natalia Brilli’s designs (possibly because she seemed to have done wrapped leather first?) but bravo for YSL for doing their own take on this. I dare not say “copy” because I doubt that’s the case.
    Anyway, wrapped leather is cool stuff- can’t wait to see Natalia’s creations in person- next Miami shopping trip!
