Kind of nice how models were “fuller” back then, but also unfortunate that I even use the word “fuller” because the models above aren’t full at all, just compared to how
anorexic the girls look today…

it always makes me wonder what drives the love of skinny models, when women like this look just as spectacular …

They were Photoshopped less?! I love how Linda looks like she’s actually got some meat on her bones oozing out of those tight trousers and they didn’t airbrush that out.

The models back then had shapes and a bit of curves now when i look at magazines i just see ironing boards, can’t get flatter than that.

such memories come up when i look at these. i worked a versace fashion show probably in ‘90 or ‘91 and all the girls were there. christy, linda, naomi, claudia. what an experience! thanks for these pics!
you are so right about models these days. the models back then were thin but they had curves. i like curves! haha!

Don’t the curves just make the clothes look so much sexier? And I absolutely adore 90s ads, so much color!

It’s unbelievable that magazines have “special” issues with “plus sized” models now. The 90s supermodels were by no means plus. But they at least looked like healthy women.
