Egg in a hole

Well good morning! I am a woman of my word, and I mentioned that I’d be doing some more breakfast posts like this, intimate setting. Made my way out of a whiskey haze at 5 am this morning but my priorities were crystal. Use up the rest of that truffle I bought, shoot, post, and get on the studio hustle to ship orders. Ate my breakfast too, which you will see now.

Breakfast with Luxirare

One of my new years resolutions was to let you guys in on my life a little bit. I think one of the most intimate moments during the day is Breakfast, where you make the shift between dream state to reality. Mornings are always a struggle for me, I get up very early every day (4-5 am) to start work, and it is always dark when I start. Sleep gets in the way of getting work done, and I am the most focused between 6 am and 12 pm. After that I don’t get much accomplished.

This morning I wanted to take a classic grilled cheese sandwich and sandwich it into a waffle. It is a combination of night and day.

Wallet Necklaces

So, how was everyone’s New Years? All I can say is that I’m starting this year off slow and simple. This post and the design is pretty light but that’s exactly how I want to start off. I have some other projects I’m working on that are unrelated to this blog so give me some time to recover. Of course I would not abandon something that you guys have felt a connection to. I will be back in full swing soon enough. TRUST ME.

Jalouse and Ceci Magazine

I’m constantly blown away by the amount of support I receive, no matter how small compared to the blogs that are in the 20k Alexa range. I don’t really know how it happened but I’m really passionate about the work I do and I’m happy that you guys share the same philosophy of luxury, design, and beauty, and I’m even more happy that in our modern day and age there is a chance for everyone to share their work.

10 Kitchen Tools I’d love to have…

One of the best things about having a blog is that you can organize a list of your favorite items and people who know you personally can read it, which means they don’t really have to guess what you WANT. Well it’s that time of year and the items below are all things I haven’t gotten around to buying, I don’t need anything on this list but yes I do need them in another kind of way. Many of these items are out of my price range but that’s okay because it’s a fantasy list.

#1 On my list: Rainman Carafe. I don’t even drink that much wine (when I do drink wine I prefer white) but wow, the glassware is so beautiful and I love the pouring mechanism.

Cinnabon Fever

I know this is cliche, but I love the holiday season. Mild depression lurking, everyone is a little more boozed up than usual, and there’s that requisite gift giving which is pretty awesome- Though my family drives me crazy I also love spending quality time with them… I don’t know what it is about December, but it makes me crave Cinnabon like no other. If you grew up in suburbs and frequented malls, you are probably well acquainted with Cinnabon..They make the most nefarious cinnamon rolls and I mean that in the best way possible. There is one at Port Authority now, just in case you wanted to know….

My favorite way to enjoy cinnabons are with some of my favorite champagne of course, Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Champagne Brut Rose

Paper Crocodile

For a while I had all these gorgeous crocodile skins at my disposal. As I kept getting new ideas for other materials, these precious hides just sat in my studio, what can I say? I was empty on ideas for how to proceed…in fact I wondered, why did I even buy these?
