Oysters and Etc.

There were two dishes I ate on repeat here in Venice. Black squid ink pasta and Clam Pasta. Squid ink pasta has a unique, mucky flavor- I can’t quite describe it in words but for some reason I had strong cravings for it in Venice. This place that I ate at below is part of a very touristy strip in Venice, near the Rialto there are a whole stream of restaurants next to the water and it has major tourist foot traffic coming in from all hours of the day. But despite all this the food was delicious, just overpriced.

I was shocked when I saw these oysters come out. These were probably the largest oysters I’ve ever eaten.

My favorite part was eating the little scallop after I ate the oyster.

And…some Spaghetti Vongole…Spaghetti Vongole and Spaghetti Di Nero Seppia are dishes that seem to be very common in Venice as I saw them as two main courses listed on almost every menu at most of the restaurants here.
