Love the simplicity of this dress, it doesn’t look dated although I’d think chopping off the hem might make it more “modern”.

It doesn’t look dated exactly, but it definitely looks like it belongs in the era when Katharine Hepburn would sweep across the screen mid-witty fight with Cary Grant.
