Noteworthy Shoes 2011-2012
Hands reaching or pointing to represent best of the best. I went through a phase where I had to collect shoes. Something about owning them made me feel more powerful or something, but as seasons pass I look at those same shoes I lusted after and realize they are no longer as desirable as they once were- no matter how cool the design (unless they are super classic and they never go out of style, like a converse or black loafer). It took me, oh…about 20 seasons to realize that the same thing kept happening over and over again, every season shoes were being accumulated with nowhere to go but the depths of my closet- so weird how different they look when they aren’t perched on a shimmering department store rack. The last shoes I bought were those D-squared spine boots and then…I stopped..But life is so boring without some snappy shoes! I hope my lust comes back with a vengeance. Okay, I’m going out now. Goodnight guys.
could you please identify the black ankle boots between the raf simons sneakers and the louboutin platforms? i have been looking for those shoes since forever!
Those Burberry creeper platforms run super narrow. If your feet are bigger than 1.5″, then forget about it. I have unnaturally narrow feet, and I had to pass on them.

the encrusted louboutins are just my favorite. i’ve always hld back htough, because what if i bring them home and they become just-another-shoe in my closet?

The Theyskend’s Theory wedges are great as well as the Dafodille’s and those thigh high lace-up boots. The flowery statue like McQueen shoes are great to watch and owe but they do not look so great when they are worn.

I agree with the opal louboutins…and they would be even better with lower platforms and heels in my personal opinion…
Sometimes themes confuse my eye, and it makes me hard to discern whether the design is really good or not, such as stars and wing motifs and mermaids…
Sergio Rossi scallop booties seem romantic; I would feel like a happy mermaid on land in those.

Any lady will need a pair of fabulous red boots. Amazing and attractive, red is the usual logo of desire, of hearth and emotions and excitement. Red peep-toe heels will pair equally nicely with blue trousers or ball clothes, which will increase each look you combine all of them.
