Needle & Thread
I spent all day making dust bags among other things (muslins, more bags etc), and part of this dust bag step requires me to embroider the fabric through an automated process… Repeating this process over and over again was kind of hypnotizing… If you remember the dustbag from this post this video below was part of that construction.

wow free hand stiching “luxirare”, without a font template? or whatever it is people use. IM AMAZED.
@Rachel NONO! This is not free hand! This font file has been loaded onto the machine and the machine embroiders it haha.
Look ma, no hands!
Cool!
Hello,
I was wondering where you order your materials/notions
Doooooood this is like some sort of magic, do I also need to be amazed how the camera seems to follow the needle’s every movement???
Wow, you have clever machine! !
o m f g
that’s awesome!
wow, this is impressive, cool embroidery

I would loooove to see a video tour of your studio
I bet it’s like the Wonka Factory in there, a myriad of wondrous machines working in confusing cohesion to produce other-worldly apparel, all under the direction of the enigmatic Luxirare
i wish i had the machinery you do!

I know this one is “just” embroidery and sewing, but wtf….. you always have these crazy things lined up to do. It’s not an ordinary arts and crafts bs. It’s like leather, lace, feathers…. crazy. Do you even sleep? LOL. You amaze me… always.
I knew exactly what was going to happen but still watched the entire thing.
I remember doing about thirty hours (over a few days) of free machining various breeds of moths and i went into a trance like state, I wouldn’t hear anyone and people were scared to interrupt.
Do you have a particular machine you love or use various ones to get the job done?
I think your previous bag was amazing, merging the man-made into the natural form.
That’s pretty cool-Hope you do a post on the end results. The last two bags you’ve made (and posted about) were amazing.
This is incredible – I’m absolutely loving your blog!
Your pictures are very cool. So unique and they make a statement. I love how the camera follows the needle around effortlessly.
Thank you for sharing, as always, I look forward to your daily posts.

Really cool! I wish I could sew and had as much talent as you.

out of all the blogs i read, i think you are the most talented! i can make things, but damn! you can MAKE things!!
amazing…
i love how your creativity and brilliance is coming together in seriously hard core new outlets! keep up the amazing work, i’m always watching and applauding! – x
YOU ARE A FUCKING GENIUS!
I LOVE THIS. WHY? BECAUSE THE BAG IS PERFECT AND YES, INDEED THOSE EVEN IF YOU HAVE AN IPAD CASE, YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT OUT TO USE IT; AND YES IT FEELS A BIT FRAGILE IN MY HANDS.
I TRULY HOPE YOU PRODUCE ANOTHER ONE OR COUPLE OF THEM AND SELL THEM ON LUXIRARE SHOP. THIS IS BEAUTIFUL, PRACTICAL ANC MINIMALISTIC, AND EXQUISITE YET NOT TO EXTRAVAGANT. CHARACTERISTICS YOU DO RARELY RARELY FIND IN ONE PIECE.
LONG TIME I HAVENT HAVE MY MIND AWAY BY YOU. THANKS!
JOHN MUNCH IS AS WELL MY FAVORITE ALONG WITH ALEXANDER CABOT.
ON THE OTHER HAND MY LEAST FAVORITE IS CASEY NOVAK. I DISLIKE VERY, VERY MUCH; FIND HER ABNOUSIOUS AND ANNOYING. DO NOT KNOW THE REASON.
HAVE A NICE WEEK.
PS: I HAD A DREAM. STRANGELY I DREAMT YOU HAD A BOUTIQUE. IT WAS A THREE STORY BUILDING: 1ST BOUTIQUE, 2ND WORKROOM; WHERE THE MAGIC HAPPENS; 3RD WAS YOUR HOUSE. PRETTY COOL.
THE MANNEQUINS WERE REAL MODEL. AND YOUR WORK WAS SEEN AS PIECES OF ART. SINCE EVERYONE WAS DRINKING WINE AND EATING CHEESE AS IN A GALLERY ART OPENING. PRETTY COOL.
I WAS SMILING WHEN I WOKE UP. HOPEFULLY ONE DAY I’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO SHOP AT A LUXIRARE’S BOUTIQUE.
MY MIND BLOWN AWAY***
I collect dust bags. Would you ever consider selling them on their own?
I’m a packaging fetishist. : – ) I keep my to-be-laund’red silky negs in a Ferragamo bag, hehe.
I’d probably keep my $$$ in a luxirare bag.
hi!!
wow amazing, i love your creations, every single one!!
can i ask which machine do you use??
best regards!
awww shucks, i’m envious. i wanted one of those embroidery machines but too broke for that. love the dust bags!!
