Multigrain Croissant
Really simple late breakfast here. I’ve been enjoying these multigrain croissants that I can only get at Costco, and when I first saw them I was surprised because I’ve never really seen a multigrain croissant before. They are so nutty, flaky, and there are lots of seeds inside that just make it delicious. Perfect with some spreadable Robiola cheese.

This cheeseplate is by Michael Aram, got it on the top floor at Barneys.

These would have been great with some fresh figs sliced on top but I have a hard time finding them. More soon.

Speechless…
*drooooooool* That last picture is almost naughty, as it looks so deliciously creamy!
I would highly recommend adding prosciutto and some greens too once you find some figs. I had a similar plate at Scottadito in BK and it was scrumptious!
We eat a lot of figs in Portugal. And it does seem that they would taste brilliant with the cheese inside the croissant. Your food always seems intricately simple, you’re an inspiration.
Love how you have presented the croissant in the metallic tin. Great but simple.
So want to try this but I have cut out dairy completely due to intolerance and other health reasons but it looks utterly delicious, a feast for my eyes!
Omnomnom. That looks so tasty. Healthy food is wonderful
I had a croissant for brekkie today too, although it was NOT whole grain and probably had a million calories. I think you win best brekkie.
Thank god i’m about to have breakfast~
Your a culinary wizard…looks seductively delicious!
Style Anthem.
I didn’t even know that people are making multigrain crossaints, haha! but it looks for sure delightful to eat!
Oh, I can never have enough cheese! Nice photos and cutter!
xoxoxo
i love your brunch and breakfast posts!
We have a fig tree in our backyard in Brooklyn, and I am impatiently awaiting when they are ripe…it’s taking longer than last year because apparently figs need a lot of rain. I want my figs!!
Never heard of these before. Sounds interesting!
you can get them at trader joes too! also there are really good pretzel croissants at City Bakery, which have an equally as interesting consistency (in my personal opinion).
: )
@lb
I’ve never seen them at TJ’s but I will definitely look now that you mentioned it!
That sounds and looks so yummy!

May i ask, what Camera and lens do you use! Love the photography!
Buy some figs from me. Our trees exploded this year. Haha. We don’t even want to can, bake, or cook that many.
DROOL-WORTHY!
I have never seen multi-grain croissants either…
I want to grab the nearest Robiola and scarf it down, I mean it eat it on a croissant like a lady.
So I’ve been on the hunt for figs too (I secretly love the ones on the street carts, but I haven’t seen them as of late).
I stumbled on some last week at the Asian foodstore M2M in the East Village (11th St + 3rd Ave), and had them with a nice creamy, nutty cheese.
