Goodness. These photos give the exact same feeling that I get when I’m in fabric stores and in home depot: a strong desire to buy EVERYTHING despite knowing full well I don’t know what to do with any of it! Sad. Luckily I don’t feel that way in Pearl Art Supplies (except in the acrylic paint section) or makeup shops. Hah.
AYCH What are we expecting now!!! Never knew places like this existed, totally agree with Daphne, it’s that feeling of being in a fabric store (despite the fact that I’ve never sewed my own clothes before…)
Fascinating really. I never dreamed there’d be such a place. I could go crazy in there, looking at all the heel and leather options. Then I’d find a really good cobbler….and…..yeah. Custom made shoes. (I wouldn’t have the patience or finesse to make my own like you’ve done!)
This berings about the same feeling as candy land. We have a shop similar to that in Toronto but I presume the size of the space and selection will not compare. On my trip to NYC this will definitely be a must visit stop.
I have just started a custom footwear making course! I’ve made two pairs of shoes so far. We have a few stores like this where I live, they drive me insane (in a good way). Always so many little bits and random cuts of leather. Im yet to find a good heel supplier though… this store youve found seems to have a reasonable range

Oh wow, I could spend hours in a place like this. If only I knew how to make shoes. What a joy.
