As a travel blogger, I am always on the move. Whether it’s going on a luxury trip to India or travelling to some of the world’s most exotic destinations, it means a lot of my time is spent in a sedentary position; sitting down.
Earlier this week, I came across this gorgeous infographic from Furniture at Work, a UK based office furniture company who are promoting a healthy lifestyle through the medium of yoga. The graphic features accessible yoga moves for those who spend a lot of their time in a seated position. If you travel a lot, especially to faraway places on long haul flights, you will know all too well how being seated for such a long time can make you feel stiff, uncomfortable and could even leave you with an injury.
It sums up five feel-good stretches you can do all from an upright seated position. Perfect for those long and tiring flights to your next exciting destination!
If you give these a go, use the hashtag #OfficeYoga on Twitter and tag @Furniture_Work who have started the yoga craze to help combat the negative effects of a sedentary lifestyle.
Do you have any stretches you like to do, or or off the plane? I would love to hear them, so please let me know using the comments below!
