Easy Rider

I designed the leather pants and the shirt in this post, just really really wanted a pair of leather pants customized with all the details and embellishments exactly as I imagined them, and I took a lot of inspiration from the pants below, you can see the yolk integrated at the thigh and the knee pads. I get cravings for things like this all the time..Simultaneously obsessed with the stripes in the jacket. I didn’t want to make another jacket though, my version is a long sleeve shirt with a small collar and an invisible zipper at the front. On the arms and down one side there are leather strips sewed down.

For the finishing of the leather strip shirt, I wanted something very flat and thin, no fold over hems that add bulk to the edge of the shirts. At the same time the finishing had to be slapdash yet calculated, and I used the surger to achieve this affect, the seams at the side were sewn until the waist, and then I just left it open like a slit. Back of the shirt is longer than the front, yes I do like shirts that cover my butt.

Outfit details: Shirt, shoes, leather pants, cage bag, white tail, all Luxirare.

I don’t like the button hole thing on the pants. The shirt edges look amateur.
Oh my… those leather trousers are gorrgeous!! It’s nice to see how you derived your outfit from your inspiration.
awesome!!!!
so slinky!
i love the purple lined pockets!
Forgive me luxirare but I actually love the shirt more than the pants this time!!! I like the pants but the shirt is so fresh I love the finishing it’s very sporty
I want to dress like this every day.
The purple pop of color from the pants are great.
i love the pants!!!!!
and the stripes on the shirt…..
are you going to put the pants on the webstore????
love
B!
please please say those pants will be in the shop.
@RACHEL
I would love to have them in the shop, but leather pants are incredibly difficult to produce and fitting is incredibly tough. Maybe in the future when I am not overseeing my own production..
neon pocket lining spotted
you, my dear, are a beautiful human being.
I like those pants more than I thought I would. I kinda want them now.
It must fall flat to hear because it’s been said so many times before but you are so, so talented.
girl your taste and sense of fashion is impeccable. the details oh the details, those are definitely making it even more perfect. like the purple pockets and the zipper. it is very hard to make the perfect leather pants because they can easily be too hard, tick and stiff. i love the knees, it is what real motorcycle pants look like. the white vest is absolutely stunning, not only because it is white but the shape is phenomenal. the stripes remind me of a race in Monte Carlo in the 50′s. again the details like the split, wow. oh and i love the white background for this look. it makes you pop up. i have to stop writing, but it is the most beautiful thing i have seen in a while
LOVE both of these, but those pants, wow. I’ve been trying to find a decent pair of leather pants forever & generally I don’t like lace-up pants, but you added a zipper…. coz you’re genius like that. I think I need to save for these…
head to toe WICKEDNESS! its like herbie gone wild!

The t-shirt Looks like the french Flag, i love it ^^
And the pants are perfect! Great job
I just loooooove both pieces! I’d love that shirt, it’s so fresh and elegant.
Well done again dear!
xoxoxo
I adore the little simple details on all the clothes you design. The leather trousers are stunning and make a change to all the tacky ones I’ve seen.
Oh and the whole outfit reminds me of something Michael Jackson would wear – LOVE IT.
Fucking hot!
gOrgeous
I need that shirt in my life. Maybe with a tan leather strip or even an oatmeal canvas…or fluro yellow or violet or lilac. It would also be great if there was a dress length as well…;-)
GOD, the pants are..gorgeous? Insane?ahhh I can’t find the word.
you are so talented! those pants are so rad.
xx
LOVE the knees on the pants, and of course as always, all is beautifully made and and shows true originality of thought and precision of taste.
Gor.Geous.
Rock’n pants! Like all the different shots…great perspective.
Love it and always love your posts!!!
OMG! If I earned the lottery I’d ask you for a business marriage. Your clothes keep getting better and better with each post.
One day when you are big and very well know I’ll say “oh yeah, I already read her before she started being super famous”.
You’re such a biker babe! Love it all. Xo Valerie

hahaha comment #1 sounds so jealous!
would wear it forever, the pants- THE PANTS MAN!
I can’t decide if I love the pants or shirt more… I’m gonna say the leather shirt!
Luxi
This is my favorite outfit I’ve seen on this blog. It’s THE definition of ‘cool’. I love the easy rider stripes I’ve seen them on some of the celine shopper bags but I have to say that your implementation is 100x better. I too can’t decide which one I like more, the pants or the shirt, but this time I’m thinking of going with the shirt. It’s so fucking sick. The collar, invisible zipper…everything…so androgynous. And you are gorgeous.
Gorgeous outfit on a gorgeous lady.
I love this! It’s not my style at all but I would die to have a pair of those pants. The invis zipper really gets me too; you’re so good at what you do
The whole thing is fabulous. Nicolas Ghesquière can go back to sleep
Zipper and laces, tastefully over the top. Noticed the nails, figure you for more of a round tip girl.
Will the shirt be available in your e-shop? I desperately want one!
I’ve been looking for the perfect leather pants and haven’t found them yet, these look perfect. Length is always an issue with me, as the legs are usually too short, these look just right. In love.
PLEASE please please start selling these pants! Please?
I did read your post above above leather pants being difficult to fit; do you ever do custom work?
