UNIFORM
I don’t know about you, but I am one of those people that has a daily uniform. Boring and not very creative, I know. But I am not one of those courageous people that can throw on a daring/different look everyday and feel halfway normal. Even when I think my outfit looks different, its just another version of the same uniform. (I really need to break outta this routine!) Usually my “uniform” consists of a zip-up hoodie, chanel sunglasses, some kind of skinned animal, hooker heels, skinnies, and a good t shirt. I rotate between my faves- crass tees, cramps tees, and now, thanks to Obesity&Speed , there is a new tee in the closet that has been monopolizing my daily rotation. When I said I wore this v neck pentagram tee everywhere but the shower, I meant it. The visual lingo includes my favorite graphics- including the upside down crosses, the skeleton, and the star. The fit is perfect. Its baggy enough so I don’t feel like a sausage, but its also small enough so that it doesn’t gobble up my whole outfit.

Photography gimmick 101- used by trendy photogs Ryan Mcginley, and Dash Snow. It’s called “dragging the shutter”. It creates a double-exposure movement feeling which I like although I realize how “gimmicky” it is.
So I literally live in this, I’ll switch out of my latex hoodie into my other AA hoodie in charcoal.

YSL platforms, and skinny jeans. Pretty much my second skin. I really, really need to use clean seamless paper. Look at how dirty it’s getting! Goodnight.

That shirt encompasses everything. Its really really perfect! I guess when it comes to a daily uniform, I am completely the other way. I try to dress as differently as possible from day to day and feel really uncomfortable wearing t-shirts. Part of me would like to have a cartoon-character’s wardrobe of the same ensemble day-to-day, but that just ain’t my fate!

I love your photos! And I love that fur coat and you pull of the Chanel half-tint glasses so well. I remember I tried a pair on in Korea during the summer but they didn’t look too good on me unfortunately. I was so close to getting them too. Oh well.
And the latex hoodies’ been on my wishlist for a while
