C-Suit
Everything pictured here today is Chanel-ed and see through, even Rocky is see through… I scored the c-suit and the bag with my mom when I was a sophomore in highschool and it was a memorable experience for me.
Ew, clear shoes and a clear bag? Super tacky. In my opinion, if you’re going to be tacky go all out, its the only way.
Rocky wanted to make a little Michael Jackson tribute with her armband.
You can’t fit much in here. I have a $20, credit card, metrocard, and a pill case with ..well…pills.
If you look closely, you’ll see a trademark Chanel technique that has been carried on through the house after her death, she attaches thin chains at the bottom of a lace, not as decoration but for the purposes of weighing down the slip of the skirt. She also did this for the jacket portion of this suit as well, right where the lining meets the hem of the face fabric. I like that the chain is used for functionality and not frivolity.

Literally *gasp* love this entry! Such a shame about MJ – I stopped breathing for a few mins when I found out – you must have felt even suckier with the cold – hope you feel better soon! The illness clearly has not affected the quality of your post – you've styled the suit in a non-obvious way and I LOVE IT… evidently we can't all afford chanel suits, shoes and bags, but ALL can be inspired by creativity and itelligence such as yours.

Really cool about the tiny little chain..never knew! You look so fabulous in the suit..the lace detail on the bottom and the little silver buttons are amazing. I'm pretty sure I've never seen the clear cassette tape bag before and I am completely enamored..incredible.

Agh. I know. I am glued to the television at night when they talk about Michael Jackson – mostly disgusted that they have to go into all this detail about how messed up he was, instead of focusing on his talent, music and impact. I mean they do, but more of it is on how much he weighed when he died and blah blah. By the way, that Chanel case you have there is wonderful, I saw it and squeaked a little bit. And the shoes. And oh, Rocky, the pup.

Anyone else and this much Chanel would be complete overkill, but the mix of new and old pieces looks really good. And those shoes. SO good. Speaking of shoes, would you say Demonia shoes run true to size, a bit small, etc? I'm usually a 38 in sandals, and I'm not sure if an 8 would be good for a boot.

YES, I love the skeleton body suit. I also have that chanel clutch and some similar skeleton tights. I'm beginning to think we're one and the same (taste wise, plus my penchant for demonia boots. All besides your culinary genius, amazing work on self made garments, and amazing photography skills. Yeah, despite all that I would love to make even the slightest comparison haha. KISS, China L.

I agree, Rocky's looking very very good! You had good taste even in high school. I wore the most horrendous things. The suit is the most rad version I've seen from Chanel's classic two piece. (The styling with the bone undersuit is the icing)

not a big fan of chanel suit actually… puts me too sleep… but ones again you kind if change my mind question did you made this skeleton top? looks like it has been drawn on a mesh top with white markers for cloth?? could be an idea… bien à vous luxirare leslie

No, You can buy the skeleton body suit at lingerie websites on the internet. They are easy to find and cost anywhere from 15-20 usd.

fantastic outfit! all i can say is that your level of taste as a sophmore in high school was waaaaay beyond mine at that age.. i wore black lipliner with no lipstick and had blond bangs when i was 15 lol. talk about walking nightmare.haha.

Love the tribute! I've been surprised by the amount of bloggers who haven't given MJ a single nod.The weighted hem is a traditional tailoring technique found in all well made clothing. No good tailor would produce clothing without it…even good curtains have weighted hems
