Black Crocodile

This updated design is another spinoff on those crocodile bags, remember those? When I went to Staples for inspiration? Well this time I had to go all black on black on black, with those crocodile style wallet necklaces…
Now I had to follow a similar design strategy to that same post, to treat this crocodile skin with some disrespect. It’s kind of like how you walk into a room, and you notice one fellow or lady who is just stunning (physically) and he or she knows it. In fact you find that kind of cockiness a bit annoying and unmerited. Like this person is obviously walking around like they own the room. The last thing you want to do when you meet this kind of person is be intimidated. In fact you just want to treat them like the average joe. Well this is what I feel like doing to this crocodile too. These kinds of designs always come to mind when thinking of such skins. And let me say it’s just not my style. No need for diapers just yet.

Subtraction was a big part of this updated series. First of all I got rid of silver hardware. Black chain, black closure, and black leather. Wanted the look to accentuate the croc’s texture.

Oh but there is still light at the end of the tunnel. See that white lining.

Keeping it simple, as usual.

Casually styled with a sheer button up, and baggy ripped jeans. No need to dress up like you’re going to meet Santa Claus.

Now time to engage in some stupid behavior. Credit card in my wallet necklace, and cash in a transparent name tag.

What I love about putting my keys on here, I can never lose them. Just pull a string and open some doors, because I lose things all the time.

This item is available in the shop of course. Thanks for reading.

Flawless execution as always. Black and black always looks chic!
yess! thank god. honestly i love the idea and practicality of an item like this but was just turned off by your previous designs. the mesh and neon? no offense but kind of like a cheap pencil pouch found at the back to school sale at walmart. the other wallet necklaces? design of the pouch was too simple and paired with the silver chain, looked a bit cheap. also with the handcuffs–a little tacky. a bit of a disappointment in comparison to your past design pursuits, like the origami bag and moto mini vest. this is much, much sleeker, cooler and just much more pleasing aesthetically.
Beautiful. What is the name and brand of the lip colour you are wearing?
Beautiful. You actually make me want to wear crocodile. I love the way you are handling the texture. Brilliant!
Love the irreverence of this redesign! I think animal skin should be worn with a bit of cheek to offset the “prissiness” of the of the material, which is what you’ve done here. Great!
I should really try not to come off as quite so pretentious. Also, I must think before writing, as nonsensical comments are just that… nonsense.
s’all good
Beautiful product, but you should consider using faux crocodile skin next time. High quality faux feels and looks the same as the real thing, for a fraction of the price, and no animals will be killed.
thats awesome

This is so simple and small, I love that you kept everything black so nothing would overpower the beautiful crocodile skin. This would really great to use when going out, it beats bringing a purse or shoving things in my bra.
I am impressed on her total outfit and loved her leap color she used.
