Before another year ends…

Anastasia Radevich x Luxirare collabo jacket.

Oh god you guys, I don’t know how much longer this blog will last haha. Just looking at these photos, it makes me really exhausted, sometimes in the studio I have those moments where I secretly (or at least in my dreams) escape my workspace, never see another piece of fabric or leather again…and in those early morning hours when I’m bleary eyed and tired and still a bit unconscious, I ask myself why I am doing what I do, and how I got here..how did I get sucked in? At these times I feel like you really don’t choose your fate.
I wish every single one of you a Happy New Year! 2012 here we go.

You really are incredible – please keep blowing my mind with your awesome designs!
My favourites for this year would definitly be the black leather pants, the black a-line skirts, the white dress with the snake skin, the white crisscross handbag and of course the nude motorcycle jacket.
This is such a surprising confession to read- because every time I check your site it feels like entering a dream world and I admit to having a certain “it should have been meeee!” feeling…. making all these wonderful objects, working for yourself and your readers/customers… making (and tasting) all that fantastic food, being surrounded by beautiful things… and – of course, being so talented, making something exciting and desirable out of scraps of leather and fabric.
Moral of this story is so obvious – and right now I realized that there must be a lot of people eyeing my life from outside and thinking how exciting/easy/fun and beautiful it is, even while I sometimes lay sleepless in my bed and wonder under some undefined, but heavy burden “what if” and “should I have” or “should I”.
However, please keep this blog going, it is truly one of just a few I passionately follow, and I am sure there are many people who feel the same. All the best and have a wonderful, creative and happy New Year!
WHOA — you are an inspiration and a visionary! dont ever stop, or even THINK about stopping. keep creating cause you’re the fuckin best, as drake would put it
“L’audace a de la magie, du pouvoir, du génie.”
This sentese will always make me think of you and your work .
I wish you all the best for this new year, take care and keep going, you’re unbelivable
you’re just absolutely amazing luxi! thanks for always sharing your beautiful creations with us, you inspire and amaze unlike anyone else! please don’t end your blog, we’re all living vicariously through your talent. xo
Happy New Year! I absolutely love your blog, and your dedication and attention to details are just so inspiring. I hope to have as much passion as you do!
I’ve only recently discovered your blog about a month ago. I’ve backtracked to all of your posts and continue to check back every couple of days for updates. Let me just say that you are truly amazing. Everything you do has this rare stamp and it makes me feel as if I’m peeking inside a beautiful dreamland.
I hope you don’t stop doing what you do because seriously, it’s hard to find people like you who are not only passionate but also undeniably talented in their craft.
Happy New Year!
That chain jacket is one of the most phenomenally exquisite things ever, belongs in a museum or in my closet
If you ever do decide to quit know that you’re definitely ahead. Have a happy and healthy 2012.
happy new year! love your designs!

Sometimes all you need is a little down time to regenerate. You probably work like a machine, don`t forget to take some breaks make time for yourself!
I hope you have a fun filled new years eve, and I wish you the all the best for 2012!
Ok, I’m not the commenting type, but your blog is amazing and totally inspiring! So, just keep on going
))
Happy new year!
Please don’t ever stop! The world would look a lot less tastier and uglier without your presence on the net. Anyway have a great NYE!
you are super talented, super diligent, super inspiring. and i know i’m not alone in hoping this blog lasts for a long, long time. have a great 2012.
happy new year miss kim.
your blog has changed the way i look at food and fashion.
Just one word- WOW!
what a (re)collection! that really took my breath away. 4th photo is my fave.
Don’t stop blogging pls! You don’t know how excited I get every time I see you have a new post. You are such a breath of fresh air and a source of inspiration, it would be a shame to see this blog die.
I can’t imagine the amount of pressure you feel but I think I’ve been there once or twice before. I really hope you and this blog remain online so we can continue to see your incredible work. <3
Goodness me, what an amazing collection. I can imagine how much hard work and late nights you pulled making these. Super talented doesn’t even describe you! In so much awe. Happy 2012!
What a productive year! AMAZING !!!! Enjoy your night
And a happy new year to you as well! There are a lot of pieces here that I truly covet! You are a great designer!
Don’t ever stop your blog! I can’t even begin to tell you how much it makes my day when I see your mind-blowing posts. (I guess, then, I’m asking you to continue your blog as an act of charity….) Just go reboot with a well-deserved tropical vacation!
And believe me–it’s much better to be under pressure to deliver on your documented creativity than to have no skills whatsoever and, consequently, no real place in the world. The true luxury in Luxirare is ability–which is talent + drive. Very few people have that combination and, as I’ve learned, it’s not really something we can develop.
Thank you most sincerely for the visually exhilarating year! Your creativity is absolutely appreciated!
Best wishes for the new year, whatever you chose to do.
P
You’ve done so much; for yourself and for the rest of us.
That’s always been the role of design (and food), to delight. These things/feelings are what makes life extra special.
I’d respect whatever decision you make…but if you ever stop, I hope it’s just for an extended sabbatical but not forever.
Hope you have had a great year and will have an amazing 2012!
Happy New Year, Ji!
(I proudly wear your consolidated cuff, the only thing that would fit in a male wardrobe, and it never fails to elicit a response/feeling/reaction…whether from me or people around me…and that to me, is what makes Luxirare special.)
Happy new year! I hope 2012 will bring you success and happiness, whatever you may do.
Your blog continually amazes and inspires me so much and thank you for that!
I love your blog- please continue! Your style, your work, your food- it is all constantly inspiring and exciting to me. Here is wishing you more sleep and relaxation in 2012!
I’ve seen a million 2011 recaps already and I’ve been pretty ‘meh’ about all of them. But THIS, is a feast for the eyes! Thank you Luxirare, I’m so happy to have discovered your blog and letting it inspire me everyday. You are the BEST out there! Happy New Year! Michele
Such an array of fabulous pieces here. Impossible to find a favourite. Looks like 2011 was a very creative & productive year for you. May your creativity reign through 2012 also. Peace love & light.
Your eye for color and texture will never cease to amaze me! Your work is absolutely phenomenal and while I understand the “bleary eyed” exhaustion, I sincerely hope you do not stop this blog; I am a fanatic of your work and would be devastated if the visual crack ended! Thank you so much for everything and I wish you only the very best for 2012! xx
Happy new year! 2012…seems so futuristic to me.
Do what you have to do. It would be worse for you to continue blogging if you’ve lost your passion and enthusiasm for it. Then it’d just regress into a sub-par blog that disappoints in comparison to its “glory days.” Stop if you can’t keep this quality up, you are not obligated to please anyone but yourself.
Your readers all want it to keep going of course, but not for you. For our own selfish desire for entertainment.
You’ve done some incredible work so far.
Don’t give up, please! As Prêt-à-porter said, you’re ahead of our time. You really got that metropolitan feeling of what is really cool to see, taste or dress. That said, my dear, I have an ask to do. Could you, please, never use real fur in your creations? That’s because there are some producers that take them off of alive animals. And it is (I’m sure you agree with me) really cruel.
Have a really great 2012!
The things ou make and do are, no doubt, beautiful. I used to read tons and tons of fashion blogs, but for the past half year I haven’t had much time; however, yours is one I visit still and often.
Reading all the comments and supports for you make me smile. I believe you’re smiling even wider than I am when you read it.

Loving your work, looking forward to seeing what you’ve got in store for 2012!
Truly genius, inspiring !
Your work brings back a memory of a deep desire to create. Thank you.
i know exactly what you mean.
